Buhoma offers a range of licensed guides covering every experience the area has to offer. UWA rangers lead all gorilla trekking groups — permits cost $800 USD and must be booked in advance. UWA Gorilla Trekking Rangers

Uganda Wildlife Authority rangers lead all gorilla trekking groups in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. Trekking requires a $800 USD permit purchased in advance through UWA. Rangers are assigned on the morning of each trek at the Buhoma briefing point and are deeply knowledgeable about gorilla behavior and the forest ecosystem.

A collective of trained local guides offering community walks, village tours, and cultural experiences around Buhoma.
